This episode is Part 2 of a three-part series on the arc of restoration. Restoration rarely happens instantly. Most of the time, it unfolds in what feels like the messy middle...the space between failure and healing. In this episode, we look at the stories of David and Peter, two men who deeply loved God yet experienced devastating failure. Through David's repentance in Psalm 51 and Peter's restoration in John 21, we see that repentance is never the end, but the beginning of the process. The journey of restoration requires humility in order for God to rebuild what's been broken. But the good news is this: God does not abandon us in the messy middle of our story. He meets us there and patiently leads us toward restoration.
